William David Mathis, age 83, of Victoria, VA passed away Friday, November 15, 2013. He is survived by five sons, Robert Mathis, William F. Mathis, and wife Joyce, David Mathis, Timothy Mathis, and wife Terry, Kenneth Mathis and wife Heather; two daughters, Gail Cameron and husband Donald, Carolyn Wriston and husband Joe; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Mathis. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013, in the Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013.
