Virginia Gertrude Worrell Lowe, 78, of Farmville went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2011, surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, John Hardy Lowe, son William "Bill" Lowe of Farmville, sister, Geneva Webb of Radford, granddaughters, Sarah Tomlinson and husband, Eric of Forest, and Lori Capers of Richmond, and great-grandchildren, Savannah, Kaitlyn, Kamren, and Haley. She was preceded in death by her parents Carmen and Eugenia Worrell and sisters, Ethel and Colena. Graveside services were held at 11:00 am, Monday, June 20, 2011, in Trinity Memorial Gardens.
