Virginia Estelle Deaton, 98 of Farmville, VA passed away on March 27, 2020. She was born on August 30, 1921 to the late Joseph and Laura Echols. She was married to her husband of 62 years Clyde T. Deaton. She worked at Cradock Terry for 20 years and the Stackpole for 15 years. She was a member of the Farmville Methodist Church. She loved to cook, best fried chicken in country, walk and exercise. She is survived by her son Barry Deaton and his wife Christine. She was preceded in death by her husband by 1 hour, 2 brothers Willard Echols, Toddler Echols and 3 sisters Gertrude Ayers, Bea Church and Edith Crenshaw. Services will be private.
