Mrs. Valeria Wierzbicka Czerkashinow Davenport of Keysville, VA died on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Wilno, Poland on April 4, 1923. She was the daughter of Mathilde Girkowska and Michael Czerkashinow.

Valeria leaves her loving husband, John Crehore Davenport of Keysville, to cherish her memory. John and Valeria were married on May 27, 1966, in Tokyo, Japan, and have remained inseparable from then until now.

Valeria was a very artistic individual. The beauty of God's creation fueled her creativity. She loved to read, to travel, and to entertain family and friends at her home.

John has been a very loving and devoted husband and Valeria was indeed the sunshine of his life and the twinkle in his eye.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at 9:00 AM at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
