Ray Robertson, 64 years old of Rice Virginia passed away on April 3rd, 2026, surrounded by family. Born on May 13th, 1961, in Rice, Virginia, Ray was the beloved son of Dassie and Ernest Robertson.

He grew up in Rice, Virginia and went to Prince Edward County High School.

He was known for his self-taught in auto mechanics, kindness, humor, strength, and generosity.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lawarence Robertson.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Cox-Washington (Darren); two granddaughters, Kaylee and Destiny; sisters, Reva Dugger (Joe) of Henrico, VA, Barbra Lee (Carl) of Burkeville, VA, Evelyene Williams of Henrico, VA, Ernestine Baylor (Ronald) of Richmond, VA and Fannie Fitzgerald of Danville, VA; brothers, James Robertson of Rice, VA and William Stanley Robertson of New Kent, VA; one aunt, Connie Pritchett; one uncle, Bobby Beck; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Ray’s Legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in all who knew him.
