Ola B. Wilkerson, age 88, of Crewe, departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2020, to be with her Lord and Savior.  She passed away peacefully at her home.  Ola loved the Lord and on the day of her death, was well aware that she would soon be with Him!

She is preceded in death by her son, Doug; her parents, three brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her devoted husband of sixty-nine years, Roy; and her daughter, Carolyn Leslie (Jack). Also surviving are two grandsons, Brian Wilkerson-Aigner (Richard) and Vick Leslie (Ashley), two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Haley Leslie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ola worked for twenty-eight years at Crittenden's Drug and was well known for her sweet disposition and sweet smile.  Bad health forced her into retirement and even years later; she still missed seeing her customers.

The family will receive friends 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 15, at the Hamner-McMillian Funeral Home, 1400 South Main Street, Blackstone, with chapel services to follow, 2:00 P.M. The interment will be held in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, Va., Pastor Paul Beith officiating.
