Norma Jean Johnson, age 74, of Prospect, VA passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Originally from Burt, Michigan, she was a loving friend, family member, sister, wife, mother, memaw and grandmother. Being surrounded by her family (both human and canine) and friends were constants throughout Norma's life.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Johnson and her parents, Francis and Myrtle Pease.

Norma is survived by her sons, Ronald Johnson (Lisa) of Indiana and Jeffrey Johnson (Rebecca Perkins) of Nevada. Her grandchildren, Nathaniel Johnson, Haylie Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Celeste Johnson, and Lillian Rummer. Siblings, John Pease and Rita Johnson. Niece Wendy Atkins and grandnephew Danny. Niece Susan Eppes (Billy) and grandnieces Jessica and Shelby Rose. Niece Amanda, grandnephews Jason and Josh, grandniece Jackie; along with many other beloved family members.

Arrangements are entrusted to Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville. The family will receive visitors from 5–6 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024, with the funeral service immediately following at 6 pm at Shorter Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice, VA.
