Nettie June Llewellyn Smith, 97, of Crewe, Virginia, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023. She is preceded in death by her father, James William Llewellyn; mother, Nettie Samuel Llewellyn; brother, James William Llewellyn, Jr.; husband, Claude Alexander Smith; son, Roger Claude Smith; and granddaughter, Christie Lynn Pace.

She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Smith Pace (G.W.) and Sharon Smith; grandson, Michael Scott Pace (Alison); four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Courtney Viglino, Madison and Cameron Pace; sister, Rovena Llewellyn Jones; brother, Sammy Llewellyn; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

June lived a good life, had a wonderful family, and loved going to church.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M, Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, at Hamner-McMillian Funeral Home, 1400 South Main Street, Blackstone. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., prior to the services. Interment will be held in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, Virginia.
