Minnie Arlene Shoemaker Eagle, "Teen", 89, of Farmville, Virginia, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. She was born to the late George M. Shoemaker and Minnie Ragland Shoemaker on February 24, 1936.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, four brothers, and four sisters.

Teen, as she was affectionately known, is survived by her son, Andy Eagle (Jane); grandchildren, Christopher Eagle, Kelly Haynes (Brandon), Kimberly Newcomb (Gary); great grandchildren, Dylan Eagle, Logan Newcomb (Storm), Walker Newcomb, Heather Wallace (Kenneth); great-great granddaughter, Abilene Jane Newcomb.

Teen was employed by Stackpole Components Company in Farmville, Virginia, for many years. After her retirement, she enjoyed working in her beautiful yard and caring for her lovely flowers. Also, Teen will be remembered for her love given to her cats.

The family of Teen Eagle are grateful for the kind and loving care given by her caregivers, Cheryl Hamilton and Tasha Jones.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Gardens in Rice, Virginia.
