Marie Parsons Jackson, age 89, of Drakes Branch, Virginia, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Marie was preceded in death by her two husbands, Clarence Jackson, and Robert Kirby; her parents, two sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Charles Hancock; her loving friends and caregivers, Rev. Parkis & Pat Mullins; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2017, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, with interment to follow in the Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
