Luther William Dix, 88, of Burkeville passed away January 24, 2017. Mr. Dix was preceded in death by his wife, Alice T. Dix.

Mr. Dix is survived by his daughter, Mary Alice Dix of Harrisonburg a son William Thomas Dix (Leonilia) of Chester and three grandchildren, Angela, Tiffany, and John Dix.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice, VA. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
