Lula Lucile Phelps Turner "Mrs. T", 90, of Crewe, passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2015. She was the widow of the late Raymond Turner. She was also preceded in death by her parents Walter Justice and Lula Profitt Phelps, brothers George, Jesse, Gene, and a sister Margaret. She was actively involved in Crewe Wesleyan Church for over 50 years. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Tomlin and husband James of Bedford, her son Emmit Turner and wife Sandra of Crewe and her grandchildren Justin and Anne, several nephews and a niece. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 11, 2015, from the Crewe Wesleyan Church 1014 West Carolina Avenue Crewe, VA, interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice Va. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home & Cremation Service 200 W. Carolina Avenue Crewe Va.
