Leonard Curtis Johnson, Sr., 77, of Burkeville, passed away, Saturday, May 9, 2015. Curtis was a master mechanic for many years in Nottoway Co. and a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by a son, Leonard Curtis Johnson, Jr. He is survived by his wife Ruby Johnson, Daughter, Suzanne Fowlkes (Graham) of Evington, son, Michael Johnson (Dana) of Crewe, Three sisters, Ann Price, Joyce Banton, and Ross Gallion and one granddaughter Meghan Fowlkes. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 12, 2015, from the Chapel of Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 200 W. Carolina Ave. in Crewe with Rev. J. Clyde Shelton officiating, interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
