John E. McCormick, 91, of Crewe, passed away peacefully at his home, Sunday, April 3, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years Norris, three children, Janice McCormick Tinkle (Frank) Judy McCormick and John McCormick, Jr. (Cindy) A sister, Doris McClish of Finley, OH. And a brother, Ernest McCormick (Agnes) of Burkeville. Also, surviving are his grandchildren, Elizabeth Sokol, Matthew Perry, Joshua Perry, and Kessley Horton and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. McCormick was a veteran of WW II and was employed by Norfolk- Southern Rail Road for more than 30 years. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from the Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice.
