James Elwood "Jimmy" Lee, Jr., 63, of Brookneal, died Thursday, January 10, 2019, at his residence.

Born in Lynchburg, July 29, 1955, he was a son of Mary Shorter Lee and the late James Elwood "Jim" Lee, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, William Darryl "Billy" Lee, and wife, Jean; one niece, Brooke Lee Letterman, and husband, Jody all of Brookneal; one nephew, Scotty Lee of Herndon; two great-nephews, Devin Letterman and Hunter Letterman of Brookneal; and a special friend, Alene Davis of Brookneal.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Rev. Earl Wallace officiating.
