Mrs. Garnett E. Hodges, 89 of Farmville, VA passed away on October 2, 2018. She is survived by her husband Jessie, her daughter Linda Hogan (Bill), two brothers; William Trent, Latane Trent, 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Harold.

Garnett was a clerk at Baldwins Shoe Department store for 40 years.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM before the service.
