Eugenia "Jeannie" Covington Barr departed this earthly existence. to her heavenly home on April 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Joe Raymond Barr. Her brother, Howard Julian Covington. Her father, George Abbitt Covington and her mother. Hilda Frances Abbitt Covington. Jeannie was a dedicated, loyal employee of Flowers Bakery for 30 plus years. She is survived by her daughter, Joette Barr Finchum and her husband, James Ray Finchum Jr. of Elkton, Virginia. One grandchild, Mercury Farmer of Cumberland, Virginia. Jeannie will be greatly missed by her loving family and her multitude of friends.
