Eugene "Pop" Williams, age 87, of Blackstone, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce "Gracie" Williams. He is survived by his son, Conway Eugene Williams; daughter, Loretta Joyce Williams-Hanks; stepdaughter, Carolyn Lynch of Baskerville; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Williams of Tennessee, Charles Williams of Crewe, Ralph Williams of Burkeville, and Paul Williams of Crewe; and his sister, Ann Williams of Crewe.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the Hamner-McMillian Funeral Home, 1400 South Main Street, Blackstone, where services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 15th. Interment will be held following services in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.
