Edna Adams Foster, age 94, of Chase City entered eternal life March 12, 2022. Edna loved "working in the dirt and planting flowers". She is preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Foster (Popeye); parents, Taylor Washington Adams & Lizzie Ella Adams; sons, James Vernon Foster "Jimmy", Jeffery Snow Foster, Timothy Wayne Foster, Mark Dwayne Foster, Robert Dale Foster, daughters, Alecia Taylor Foster, Debora Sue Foster; grandchildren, Jacob, Hudson, Jason Hudson, Amber Hudson, Robbie Foster; 6 sisters & 4 brothers. Surviving are her sons, Ronald Lynn Foster "Butch", and Terry Allen Foster; daughters, Linda Foster Hudson and Elizabeth Darlene Foster; brother, Calvin Adams (Jackie); sisters, Jewel Queensberry, Charlotte Watts (Harold), Phyliss Roark (Howard); special niece, Nancy Roark; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin at Wood Funeral Service Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, at 1:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sandy River Branch in Burkeville, Va. followed by interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice Va.
