Edith Trent Bowman, age 86, of Phenix, VA, entered into her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at the Woodland in Farmville, VA.  She was born in Charlotte County on March 31, 1935, to the late William Lacy Trent and Mary Watts Trent. Surviving Mrs. Bowman are a step-granddaughter, Katie Bradshaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Acie Bowman; a step-daughter, Nancy Bradshaw; a brother, William "Book" Trent; and three sisters, Louise Trent, Sylvia Trent Lipscomb, and Carolyn Trent Meadows.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2021, at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, VA.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions mask and social distancing is required. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
