Easter Christine Austin, 87, of Crewe, passed away, Friday, March 27, 2015. Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Austin. Surviving are her children, Ronald Austin and wife Marlene of Glen Allen, Connie Penland and husband John of Hampton, Billy Austin and wife Beverly of Crewe, Barbara Bruner and husband John of Vinton, VA and Steve Austin of Crewe. Also, surviving are her sisters Ola Wilkerson, Genell Butler, Annabelle Davis, 7 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 30, 2015, from the Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home Chapel, 200 W. Carolina Ave. in Crewe, with Rev. J. Clyde Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
