Donald Steele Deskins June 30, 1932 – June 20, 2020 Donald Steele Deskins was born March 30, 1932, to Paris Adams Deskins and Martha Ann Cox Deskins. He married Margaret Evelene Lester and from this union, they had four children: James, Barbara, Michael "Mike" and Robert.  Donald was a retired farmer and loved to fish. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Larry "Bud", sister Alice, his loving wife Margaret and son Mike.

He leaves behind two sons: James Deskins (Mary) and Robert Deskins (Sherrie) both of Farmville, Virginia; one daughter: Barbara Arthur (Bernard) of Kenbridge, Virginia; two grandsons: James Deskins, Jr. and Nicholas "Nick" Deskins; four granddaughters: Tammy Nelson, Amy Swanson, Jeanette Good and Sheena Gotta; 11 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
