On February 15, 2021, our beloved mother departed this life at age 86 at Henrico Doctor's in Richmond, Virginia.  She was born May 20, 1934, to the late Jim and Lucy Robinson. She was preceded in death by one brother Jesse Robinson.  She attended Appomattox County Public Schools and graduated in 1953.  She joined Zion Baptist Church in Pamplin, Virginia at an early age. She was married to Judge Farley Jr.  She was employed at Southside Community Hospital and Longwood College for years. She finally retired from Longwood College 27 years ago.  Before her illness, she was an active member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church in Hampden Sydney, Va. Her hobbies included cooking and doing craftwork.   She leaves to cherish her memories, Troy Farley, "John Boy" of Farmville, Va. and Evette "Nee Nee" Farley of Richmond, Va. One sister, Betty Fisher of Farmville, Va., and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her favorite quote was: Don't look back.
