Cindy Gayle Adams, 59, passed away at her home in Keysville, VA on November 7, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1966 to the late John Taylor Adams Sr. and Rosa Lee Taylor Adams at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, VA.

Cindy attended Patrick Henry Academy in Charlotte Court House, VA through 7th grade and went on to graduate from Prince Edward Academy in 1984. She attended BYU in Utah and came home to start her career as a phlebotomist at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, VA. She decided to further her education to receive her pin as a registered nurse. She dedicated her life to caring for people that were sick while she was employed by Southside Community Hospital. A few years ago, she changed her path and became a part of the Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation family in Keysville VA.

She is survived by her son, Jayden Chayce Alexander Blanton (Shakayln); grandson, Kashton Blanton who was the light of her life, all of Keysville, VA; her sister, Sharon Metcalf of Pamplin, VA, her brother, John T. Adams, Jr (Julie) of Farmville, VA, her sister, Missy Francisco (Travis) of Keysville, VA; nephews, Ron Metcalf (Beth) of Pamplin, VA, Taylor Adams of Washington DC, Christian Adams of Richmond, VA, Brenden and Bryson Francisco of Keysville VA; great niece, Makenzie Metcalf; and great nephew, Kole Metcalf of Pamplin VA.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, VA. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
