Charlie Aubry McCormick, 75 of Alexandria, VA passed away on April 27, 2019. He was born in Virginia to the late John T. and Ruth Harris McCormick on

September 8, 1943. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends bowling, going out to eat, and Friday Night card games. He was especially close to his grandson Bryan, they spent many a happy time hanging out together.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Elizabeth McCormick from Blacksburg, VA, a grandson Bryan Aubrey McCormick, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Juliet McCormick, 2 brothers; John Thomas McCormick Jr, Henry Wesley McCormick, and a sister Peggy McCormick.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. There will be an interment service on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 1:00 PM in Trinity Memorial Gardens.
