Catherine Loretta Holt, 78, of Powhatan, widow of Theadore H. Holt, died January 2, 2013. She is survived by her life partner, Ralph Greene; one daughter, Loretta Adams; two brothers, Ray and Donnie Scott; two sisters, Dolly Brobst and Elizabeth Amos; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a devoted friend Delores Holt. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt.60), Powhatan. A graveside service will be held Monday at 12 p.m. in the Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.
