Mann, Carol Pritchett, 76, passed away on August 12, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Fannie Pritchett, husband Emmett Mann, and grandson Jacob Bowman. She is survived by her son Kenneth Mann (Linda) of Bedford, daughter Karen Bowman (Frankie) of Midlothian and grandson Cody Bowman. Always a faithful servant of the Lord, she felt called to the ministry after her retirement from the Social Security Administration in 2000. She went on to become a Licensed Local Pastor for the United Methodist Church serving until 2012. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Puckett Funeral Home, 115 Covington Court, Farmville, VA 23901. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant UMC, 5083 Mt. Pleasant Rd, Meherrin, VA 23954 with interment to follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens.
