Christine G. Hadel, age 98 of Farmville, VA passed at the Woodlands on October 21, 2018. Christine was born on November 29, 1919, the daughter of Floyd and Gracie Garrett. She is preceded in death by two daughters; Frances Daniels of Nashville, TN and Rebecca Cochran of Lakeland, FL, her granddaughter Beth and Sister Viola Flower and by four adoring husbands; Callie Armes, Chapel Bailey, Joseph Hadel and Richard "Dick" Burrell. She leaves behind three grandchildren; Laura Offield of Whitestone VA, Vince Daniels of Scottsdale, AZ and Kristin Baker of Joelton, TN. She had six great-grandchildren and seven great, great-grandchildren in Virginia and North Carolina area. She also leaves behind three sisters; Vivian Strickland, Virginia Rosser, Patsy Betchold and a brother Floyd Garrett, Jr. She worked at the Longwood College post office from 1965 to 1984. The family wishes to thank her dedicated and loving caregivers Shelly Jackson, ShaMonica Braxton and Phyliss Haskings. Special admiration is given to her Sister Virginia Rosser for the devoted care and attention that she has given over many years.
